MEADOW LANE COUNSELING
Frequently Asked
Questions
Do you provide in person or online therapy?
All services are provided exclusively online through a HIPAA compliant platform. Meadow Lane Counseling is based in San Antonio but can serve residents in the state of Texas and North Dakota.
Is online therapy a good fit for me?
Online therapy is appropriate for mild to moderate symptoms that do not require crisis management or severe symptoms such as active suicidal thoughts and/or psychosis.
Individuals will need access to a private space for their sessions.
What should I expect?
The first session will be an intake comprised of questions related to your history and getting to know each other, along with setting treatment goals. Further sessions will be focused on your goals and alleviating symptoms.
I'm in aviation, can I receive mental health treatment?
Contrary to belief, therapy is accessible and beneficial for pilots to receive. We will work together on what is required for disclosure and how you can receive services effectively.
